What is ISO 9001:2015?

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). It outlines a framework for improving quality and a vocabulary of understanding for any organization looking to provide products and services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of customers and other relevant interested parties in the most efficient manner possible. The QMS is the aggregate of all the processes, resources, assets, and cultural values that support the goal of customer satisfaction and organizational efficiency. First published in 1987, the latest iteration (ISO 9001:2015) replaces ISO 9001:2008.

 ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies.

Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market-relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.

FY 2020/2021 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT

The FY 2020/2021 Performance Contract was negotiated by the Ministry of Education on 13th August 2020 and vetted by the Public Service Performance Management and Monitoring Unit on 29th September 2020 through the Government Performance Contracting Information System (GPCIS).

Cascading of the FY 2020/2021 Performance Contract to the specific target owners was done at the Divisional level by the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning Administration and Finance), and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Extension) on the 13th, 22nd, and 26th October 2020 respectively. Implementation is on-going and the first quarter performance contract reports were submitted to the relevant offices in October 2020.
