Short Biography
Ms. Christine Njue is the Unit Coordinator in-charge of Income Generating Projects at the University of Embu.
She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) at the University of Embu. Ms. Njue holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic management); a Bachelor of Science (Medical Laboratory Sciences) both from Kenyatta University. In addition, she holds a certification course in Supervisory Skills Development from the Kenya Institute of Management.
She has attended several workshops and short courses including Effective resolution of Public Complaints(Kenya); Effective Communication & Customer Service (Kenya); Skills Development Program for Office Administrators (Kenya); Science Media Communication (Kenya); Peer Counselling and Peer Education (Kenya); Minute taking and report writing (Kenya); Role of Biotechnology in mitigating current and emerging environmental challenges (Kenya), among others.
Ms. Njue is a member of Transformative Women in leadership Network, Organization of women in science for developing world (OWSD)-Kenya, African Women for Biosciences, International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists among others. In addition, she has diverse experience in customer service, administrative skills, disputes resolution, mentorship, proficiency in research methodologies, and laboratory Biosafety.

Her interests include Strategic management & planning, and research. She has served in various appointed committees in the University either as a Secretary or member.
