Short Biography.
Mr. Moses Ogweno Holds a bachelor of Commerce (finance) option degree and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science degree in Finance. Prior to joining the Finance department Mr. Ogweno served as an administrative assistant at the University of Embu Marketing Office for one year in-charge of marketing diploma and certificate programmes a position he held and contributed greatly towards the establishment of the University of Embu TVET Institute in 2023.He served in the Institute for two years as the Administrative Assistant and assisted in the first cohort admission of students and in the successive admissions and full establishment.
He was the ISO and Customer Complains and Resolutions Champions at the Institute. He also served as the Secretary to the University of Embu Marketing and Publicity Committee, Secretary to the Customer Service Week/Charter Anniversary ADHOC Committee, Secretary to the University of Embu TVET Institute Quality Assurance Committee, Chairman to the 2023/2024 University Cultural Festival Publicity Sub-Committee, member of the 62nd National drama and film festival ADHOC Planning Committee, Member of the 2024/2025 University of Embu Cultural Festival Planning Committee.
Mr. Ogweno also served as the Student’s President at the University of Embu during the 2020/2021 Academic year and is passionate about youth leadership. He was also an attaché at the University of Embu Finance department between May and August 2021.
He is currently stationed at the Revenue and Reconciliation Section at the University of Embu Finance Department.
