The finance department serves a wide range of customers, both internal and external. The department has policies and procedures that guide, reinforce and clarify the standards expected of employees in the process of service delivery. Finance department deals with a wide range of customers, who include: students, suppliers of goods and services and members of staff. As a department, we strive and are committed to meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers. On payment, we are widely known for the accuracy and timely processing of invoices and other claims. The department has a robust service delivery system, with internal checking mechanisms, that guarantees quality services.

d) Excellent performance in performance contracting.
Corruption reporting
The finance department does not condone corruption. Any attempt by any member of the department to solicit for bribes, or other favours, in exchange of service should be reported to the University Management through the existing corruption reporting channels of the University.
Contribution towards the success of the University
The finance department is a significant contributor to the overall success of the University. The department collaborates with other University departments and sections in delivering great success to the University of Embu.
