Short Biography:

CPA David Kiambi is currently working in Finance department as Head of Financial
Reporting Section at University of Embu. He joined the University in 2017 and holds the
following qualifications: CPAK, BBA (Accounting), MSc. Accounting and Finance
(project). He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya
(ICPAK). Mr. Kiambi has a wealth of progressive experience in accounting and finance
having previously worked at Kenya Methodist University in Finance Department and
YWCA-Kenya for a total of six years prior to joining University of Embu. He is a member
of the University knowledge management committee, Budget implementation
committee, Customer relations and complaints resolution committee, Risk management
committee among others. In addition, he has attended several trainings on financial
reporting, Public finance management, Tax management and Budgeting. CPA Kiambi
possess good communication and interpersonal skills and has excellent leadership
qualities.
