Finance department was established in the year 2012 and is therefore among the oldest departments of the University of Embu. The department operates in the division of Planning, Administration and Finance, that is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Administration and Finance).
The key function of the department is to implement financial policies and procedures, to ensure that all resources of the University are adequately safeguarded and accounted for.
The department has a team of qualified, experienced and competent staff who are committed to rendering quality and timely services. To ensure that customers get value for money in the entire process of service delivery, we adhere to the University core values, namely: integrity, innovativeness, professionalism, teamwork and customer focus.
The department operates adequate internal mechanisms, for ensuring that all customers are served professionally and indiscriminately. For continual improvement in service delivery, the University Management welcomes customer feedback through the various established channels, which include: suggestion boxes, complaints/ compliment registers, telephone and emails.
As a department, we are proud to be part of the team that contributes immensely in delivering great success to the University of Embu. We appreciate the University Management for continuous guidance and invaluable support, that has enabled us to perform excellently in our operations.
