Due Diligence of Coffee Seedlings Production

A team of three officials from the Ministry of Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development visited the University of Embu on Wednesday, 21st January 2026, to conduct due diligence on the propagation of coffee planting materials. The team was led by Hon. Kennedy Kilwake of the Ministry of Co-operatives and Small Enterprise, accompanied by Dr. James Gisame, a Research Scientist, and Mr. Muhia Mwirigi, Deputy Director, Agriculture Extension, New Kenya Planters Co-operative Union. They were received by the Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Research and Extension, Prof. Paul Nthakanio, and the Dean, School of Agriculture, Dr. Samuel Ndirangu. The team later visited the University nursery.
