A delegation of staff and  26 Students from Queens University, Canada on Monday 24th March, 2025 visited the UoEm. The team was welcomed by Senior Lecturer, School of Education , Dr. Madrine King'endo. The team was led by Queens University, Faculty of Education, Assistant Professor, Dr. Jane Chin, PhD and 1 Million teachers, Executive Director, Dr. Rizma Butt.

They later on paid a courtesy call to the VC, Prof. Daniel Mugendi in his office and held a consultative meeting to look for areas of collaboration and further engagements. 

They toured the University facilities like; Prof. George Magoha Library, Dam 5 where they enjoyed a Nature trail, Farm, Yoghurt Processing Unit and Computer lab. 

They had one-on-one discussion with the UoEm students before leaving the Campus.
