The UoEm VC, Prof. Daniel Mugendi on Friday 7th February, 2025 received Prof. Johan Mansson from SLU, Swedish University of Agriculture in his office when he paid him a courtesy call.
Prof. Johan Mansson is a Professor of Animal Ecology with specialization in the study of birds, Ornithology. This was his 3rd visit since the UoEm signed an MoU with Swedish University of Agriculture(SLU) in the year 2024.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the progress that has been made in the first year of the project," Sustainable and Healthier Options of Minimizing Yields Loss from Pest Birds in the Rice Fields".
