A team of 3 officials from Octagon Africa Finance Service Limited visited the University of Embu on Monday 5th August, 2024 . The team led by Ms. Florence Kombuthi, Mr. Ong'aro Davis and Ms. Ruth Njuguna were welcomed  by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Eucharia Kenya on behalf of the VC, Prof. Daniel Mugendi. They were taken through the University profile before holding a consultative meeting. Octagon Africa Finance Service Limited is a pension scheme that was established in 2007 and is a regional financial services company. Their key focus is on Corporate Governance , Risk Management and Data Protection. They have currently engaged more than 13 public and 2 private Universities in the scheme.  In the year 2022, they ventured in Young Money, a program that is geared in Financial Literacy Training for the Youths.
