STEPS ON HOW TO OBTAIN AN AGPO CERTIFICATE
1. Visit AGPO website on www.agpo.go.ke and click on register.
2. Create an account. You will be required to fill in personal details. Once you key in your personal details, an activation link is sent to your email account.
3. Activate your AGPO account by clicking on the link sent to your email address.
4. Log into the AGPO system using the details that you gave while creating your account.
5. Register business by providing information in the required fields and attach the required scanned documents.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR AN AGPO CERTIFICATE REGISTRATION
• Identity Card(s)/Passport(s).
• Business Registration Certificate/ Certificate of Incorporation.
• PIN/VAT Certificate.
• Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Partnership Deed for Partnership Business.
• Memorandum/Articles of Association and CR12 mandatory for Registered Companies.
• For Construction Category – Letter/Certificate from the National Construction Authority, Energy Regulatory Commission or any other Authorized Public Technical Body
For partnerships
1. Identity card of each director
2. Business registration certificate (copy)
3. Partnership deed (copy)
4. PIN certificate of the partners.
5. Tax compliance certificate of the partners
For sole proprietorships
1. Identity card of each director
2. Business registration certificate (copy)
3. PIN certificate of the owner.
4. Tax compliance certificate of the owner
For Youth Registration (YAGPO)
1. National Identity Card/ Passport – youth are from ages 18 years to 34 years old
2. Business Registration Certificate/ Certificate of Incorporation
3. CR12 for Limited Company from registrar of business names
4. Partnership Deed for partnership business
5. Tax compliance certificate
6. National Construction Authority Letter/ Certificate for construction category
For PWD Registration
1. National Identity Card/ Passport
2. Registration Document from the National Council for persons with disability
3. Business Registration Certificate/ Certificate of Incorporation
4. CR12 for Limited Company from registrar of business names
5. Partnership Deed for partnership business
6. Tax Compliance Certificate
7. National Construction Authority Letter/ Certificate for construction category
For Women Category Registration
1. National Identity Card/ Passport
2. Business Registration Certificate/ Certificate of Incorporation
3. CR12 for Limited Company from registrar of business names
4. Partnership Deed for partnership business
