Short Biography:

Mr. Kelvin Muchungu has served as an administrator at the University of Embu for the past seven years. He has summative experience in the areas of policy and guidelines formulation, procedure development, quality management, and information security management systems audits, event management, and meeting logistics.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) degree from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Finance at Kenyatta University. He has also received training in the areas of curriculum development and implementation, protocol and office administration skills.

In addition, he is a trained Lead auditor in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and an auditor in ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems. Beyond his duties and responsibilities in the Directorate of PC & ISO, he actively participates in other key University committees namely; ISO Implementation Committee, Knowledge Management Committee, Finance Reporting Committee, Audit and Review of Documents Sub-Committee, Collaborative and Partnerships Sub-Committee.
