FY 2021/2022 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT & CASCADING

The FY 2021/2022 Performance Contract Guidelines were received and heads of departments/ sections set targets that were discussed at their respective divisions in June 2021. A Draft performance Contract was then developed and tabled to the University Management Board on 30th June 2021 and after tabled for discussion during the University Council Meeting on 9th July 2021.

The PC was then uploaded on the Performance Management System for negotiation and then vetting. Negotiation and Vetting was conducted by the Ministry of Education on 31st August 2021 and 13th September 2021 respectively. It was then reviewed and approved by Public Service Performance Management Monitoring Unit in the Ministry of Public Service and Gender.

The FY 2021/2022 Performance Contract was cascaded in a meeting held on Monday, 25th October 2021. Cascading involves signing of the PC between the Chairman of University Council and the Vice-Chancellor and then the heads of divisions who hence sign with the respective heads of departments/section.
