Our Services

The Department of Health Services offers the following key services:

  • Medical Consultation by qualified health care practitioners.
  • Laboratory Services - the Department is well equipped to offer a wide variety of laboratory tests
  • Pharmacy - the Department provides a variety of medical drugs and products for the students
  • Referral - the Department maintains a well-established referral system whereby students who require services not available at the Department are referred to Embu Level 5 Hospital.
  • Health education - the Department continually disseminates important health information to students through the University website, students’ emails and in-person guidance and counselling sessions.
