Following the Coronavirus Disease outbreak, the department embarked on sensitizing the University community on precautions to take in preventing new infections and spread of the virus. The new norm of maintenance of social distance, putting on facemasks, hand washing or sanitizing of hands has been embraced positively across the University. Participants drawn from University Management and members of staff from the Department of Health Services were taken through a two-days training on Management of Potential Exposure to Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).
