 Short Biography:

Mr. Gilbert Kyule Wambua is a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (Accounting) from Mount Kenya University.

Currently, he serves as an Intern in the Department of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Planning, Administration and Finance) at the University of Embu, where he supports administrative coordination, Risk management, compliance initiatives, and departmental reporting. His key responsibilities include: Monitoring the University Risk Register, preparing reports and meeting minutes, supporting audit readiness, and enhancing records management processes.

Gilbert has previously worked at Mustowi Agencies in accounting and financial administration roles, where he gained experience in financial reporting, accounts reconciliation, payroll support, inventory management, and data analysis. He has a keen interest in risk management, strategic planning, governance, and organizational performance improvement. He is also actively involved in committees and Corporate Social Responsibilities activities that promote institutional effectiveness and continuous development.
