About Us

Since its inception in 2011, the Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Planning, Administration and Finance (DVC-PAF) oversee and coordinates cross-cutting departments in the division of Planning, Administration and Finance to ensure realization of divisional objectives. These departments include; Finance, Procurement, Human resource, Estates, Medical and pension, Health Services, Public Health, Farm, Stores and Catering.
In addition, the Office at large is in charge of developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure;

  1. The University budget, financial statements and management reports and expenditures are consistent with the budget and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Efficient performance and delivery of services of the PAF division in the University.
  3. The University receives quality services from suppliers and gets value for its money.
  4. Maintenance of appropriate human resource policies, procedures and systems to attract, develop and retain qualified and experienced human resources.
  5. Overall implementation and monitoring of the University’s strategic plan.
  6. Maintenance of efficiency and good order of the University’s assets and ensure proper controls of financial expenditure.
  7. Mobilization of finances and other resources that the University may require to carry out its mandate.
  8. Provision of innovative and creative leadership in areas of overall University administrative services and ensuring productivity and efficiency of the University’s human resources including overseeing staff welfare, conduct, appraisal and discipline.
