PEER MENTORSHIP TRAINING

On 22nd September 2020, The Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (PAF) organized a Peer Mentorship training, for all Heads of Sections (HoSs) and the Unit Coordinators in the Planning, Administration & Finance Division.

The purpose of the training was to raise awareness on the importance Peer Mentorship and the value of having a work mentor.
In addition, the training was a platform for members to share experiences and learn from one another since some of the Heads of Sections have more experience than others.
The topics which were covered are;

1.    The Value of Peer mentorship             -    Prof. Eucharia Kenya
2.    Introduction on Peer mentorship             -    Ms. Gladys Atambo
3.    Basic Principles of early career manager        -    Prof. Paul Nthakanio
4.    Balancing work and Career development        -    Mr. Justus Mwenda
5.    Mentorship Personal experiences            -    Mr. Lawrence Kamonjo and Mrs. Purity Chege

The training was facilitated by Prof. Eucharia Kenya, Prof. Paul Nthakanio, Mr. Lawrence Kamonjo, Mrs. Purity Chege, Ms. Gladys Atambo and Mr. Justus Mwenda.
