On Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, a team of three officers from the Kenya National Audit Office and the Commission for University Education visited the University of Embu to conduct an audit on the Accreditation of Academic Programmes. The team comprised Mr. Jefitha Kimotho, Ms. Rose Mwangi, and Ms. Sarah Ooro. They were received by the Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research & Extension), Prof. Paul Nthakanio, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi.
