Alex Kangogo Kandie is a dedicated Statistician, Data Analyst and Academic Quality Assurance professional based in Kenya. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in Statistics and is currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics. His academic foundation underpins his expertise in transforming complex datasets into actionable policy insights.
At the University of Embu, Alex serves as an Administrative Assistant I and Data Analyst, driving institutional quality audits and accreditation readiness. He also lectures part-time, mentoring future analysts. Notably, he conducts data analysis and reporting for the State Department for Higher Education (SDHE) on university enrollment planning, alongside managing country-wide data collection and aggregation for all university students on behalf of SDHE. Furthermore, he automated internal data systems, boosting response rates from 30% to 92%.
