Short Biography

Peter has worked in various hospitality establishments in Kenya in different positions since 2008. He joined University of Embu as a housekeeper in March of 2016. He was later appointed as the Head of the Accommodation Section. Peter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Kenyatta University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Tourism Management from the same University.

As a highly visible member of the University’s extended management, the Head of Accommodation offers key support to the operations of the University. Working in close partnership with other department heads, the Head of Accommodation ensures that the highest standards for cleanliness, safety and sanitation are maintained throughout the University. He ensures that students’ and guests’ requests are responded to promptly, and
he directs his team in performing a variety of activities to ensure a consistently clean, orderly, and attractive environment within the hostels and the whole University at large.
