The office of the Registrar (PAF) was established in June 2017. It is under the supervision of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (PAF) who also allocate its duties and responsibilities. Key among its duties are;
- Assisting DVC PAF in coordinating departments to adopt systems that enhance resources mobilization for institutional growth, reduction in wastefulness and minimize spending risks.
- Coordinate cross-cutting activities such as conducting training and extension work in various departments under DVC (PAF) to ensure the realization of division objectives.
- Coordinate University tenancy agreement for staff housing and commercial premises to ensure University gets best returns.
- Coordinate systems that ensure a clean environment, maintain good health in the University so as to improve the working environment.
- Alternate chair for Public-Private Partnership management committee node to ensure its appropriate coordination.
- Assist DVC (PAF) in the implementation and monitoring of the University's strategic plan for consistency University operations.
- Document emerging issues in the division for action by DVC (PAF).
- Oversee organization of heads of sections meetings to ensure scheduled meetings are held and recommendations implemented.
- Coordinating in the design of appropriate environments and systems to attract, develop and retain qualified and experienced human resources.
- Coordinate departments to ensure maintenance of efficiency of the University’s assets and ensure proper controls that avoid loses.z
- Supervise and appraise staff under Registrar Planning Administration and Finance for monitoring of work performance.
- Coordinate farm activities to ensure commercial and teaching needs are realized.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or Deputy Vice-Chancellor Planning Administration and Finance to enable University realize its vision and mission.
