Short Biography
Mr. Nyarango serves as an Administrative Assistant at the Registrar, Vice-Chancellor’s Office. He embraces creativity, attention to detail and innovation in today’s dynamic environment while upholding high standards of discipline and integrity with a focus on contributing to the continuous improvement of the Institution’s objectives. He holds a Bachelor of Education Arts degree from University of Embu. His research interests include: Educational Leadership, Governance and Administration; Educational Policy, Planning and System Reform; Curriculum Leadership and Instructional Management; Teacher Management, Professional Development, and Workforce Policy; Assessment, Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness; History of Education, Policy and Institutional Development; Educational Administration in Higher Education; and Education, Leadership, Socio-Economic Development, Climate Change Peace-Building, and Conflict Resolution. In addition, he has attended various conferences and trainings programmes including leadership and organisational development, youth partnership, pandemic response webinar, first aid, fire marshal training, peer counselling, among others.
