The Office of Career Services organized an academic engagement session with the Kenya Red Cross Society (Embu Branch) and the Embu County Government Disaster Management Department for Fourth-Year Criminology and Security Studies students undertaking the Disaster Management Unit. The session was held on Tuesday, 24th February 2026, at the Tentatorium Hall.

The engagement focused on key areas of disaster preparedness, emergency response, and humanitarian operations, providing students with practical insights from experienced practitioners in the field.
