Short Biography
Prof. Paul Njiruh Nthakanio joined the University of Embu in the year 2013 and served as Chairman, Department of Agricultural Resource Management. He holds a PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding and consults in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology with various governmental and non-governmental organizations. In the Eastern African region, he has been involved in project evaluation for the Tanzanian Government among others. Prof. Nthakanio serves as a youth mentor. He has demonstrated his dedication towards youth empowerment by supervising students pursuing Masters and PhD programs.
