University of Embu liaises with KURA to improve road network within the University. Approximately 2.5 km of existing road to be upgraded to bitumen over a period of 18 months with a completion date of December 2022. The road will be located from Gate A to Farm to Gate C to Old campus to Charter to Athletics Track. It will be 15 metres wide and will accommodate two-way lanes, pedestrian walkways, cycling lanes and streetlights. The road will aid the University to achieve Strategic Plan objective on developing and enhancing infrastructure for effective service delivery.
